Guided by our vision to create a world where mental health is valued equally to physical health, we implement programs and services that support individuals, families, and communities through: Mental Health Awareness & Advocacy, Social & Emotional Learning (SEL), Psychotherapy & Counselling, Youth MindMatters and Cancer Awareness & Psychosocial Support
About the Role
We are seeking a creative and passionate Digital Media & Communications Volunteer to help tell our story, amplify our impact, and strengthen our online presence. This is a remote volunteer opportunity, ideal for individuals interested in digital communications, storytelling, content creation, and mental health advocacy. As part of our team, you will help create engaging content that raises awareness, inspires hope, and connects audiences to our mission from wherever you are.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage engaging content across social media platforms.
- Create and publish captions, stories, articles, awareness messages, and other digital content.
- Design graphics and support the development of short videos, reels, and multimedia content.
- Support content planning and maintain a content calendar.
- Contribute to mental health awareness campaigns and digital engagement initiatives.
- Monitor audience engagement and identify opportunities to grow our online community.
- Support website updates and digital communications activities.
- Generate creative ideas for storytelling, campaigns, and audience engagement.
- Capture and share the impact of our programs through compelling digital narratives.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about mental health, emotional wellbeing, and community impact.
- Creative and enthusiastic about digital media and communications.
- A strong writer with excellent attention to detail.
- Familiar with major social media platforms and content trends.
- Able to create engaging visual and written content.
- Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Willing to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a purpose-driven team.
Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, photography, videography, social media management, website content management, or other digital communication tools will be an added advantage.
